So I decided to go car shopping tonight. I decided to look at several different cars, and I think I found the one. First I looked at the zr1.
Damn nice car, had headers and some more exhaust work. The issues I had was the interior was absolute shit, and it had no technology. I'm still considering it, but I want a car I can drive, and I don't think it's for me. Next I looked at the z06.
Again, extremely nice car and a better interior. But I would have to store it 4 months a year, and that's not for me. For about 100k, that opens up several other options (most notably an Aston Martin gt).
Last choice: Wildcard.
I saw a Subaru dealer while driving between the zr1 dealer and the z06. Stopped in to look if they had and 15 wrx or stis in. They only stated they had two wrxs in, no stis. Till I noticed this baby in the shop. Fresh delivery, they just got it today. Salesman didn't even know they had it. Man do I like this. Plus would be I can justify only getting rid of my Saabaru for it. I almost bought it if it wasn't for a slight guilt I feel for buying this as an beater car. My hearts torn on if I should get the sti or not. But the sti looks so good, hrrrrrrnggggggghhhh.

That's exactly how I'd spec my STi. That color, those wheels, perfect.
But yeah, you should definitely get an Aston Martin.

I've only seen 2 ZR1s in person and both times they sounded nothing short of absolutely amazing. I, for one, could disregard any build quality issues with that monstrous snarl coming from out back.

I think I already asked, but why not a base Stingray? You could probably drive it all year, and it's probably a bit more fun than the STI

Stupid amazing sound, but I need something drivable. Maybe it's because I made the mistake of driving my s550 to the dealer, but those seats were some of the worst I've experienced. Seriously, my 01 forester was more supportive. Also I was a tad bit tall and couldn't get comfy.

I can't justify getting rid of my m3 for a z51. The performance difference doesn't justify the practicality and feel of the ///m.

It had the alcantara seats with red trim, navi, better speakers, hids, and a 6 speed short throw. Honestly suprised I didn't buy it tonight, it was perfect.

2 seats is a big sacrifice for me. I actually looked at the z/28 a bit, but that car is not made for the street at all. Also I just simply don't like camaros. Gt350 is possible but meh, Mustangs barely do anything for me. Idk, I like and dislike cars for no real reason sometimes.

You should just get a Miata with aggressive winter tires and a hardtop. That sounds like the perfect beater car.

As much as I love my miata's I currently commute across 50 miles of unplowed country roads. Awd and blizzaks plus clearance is a necessity sometimes.

It was the whole fit and finish. It's not out of the running. Also it didn't have much if any warranty left. I don't think it would make the best car for me.
